Not for the Squeamish

Here’s Kate on the potty for the first time. Well I have been trying for several days, however I have never noticed her cues. I noticed that she was sleeping and kinda woke up, so I picked her up and put her on the potty. I am actually ready to try ECing, another word for Natural Infant Hygiene or Elimination Communication. These are strange options for todays world, however I am interested in trying new ideas. I have jumped off the mainstream bandwagon, and on to different way. I am not yet as strange as many would think, however we are a cloth diapering family, we are breast feeding (whenever and where ever we want), we also share a family bed. These are new concepts in the US, however many are practiced in other places all over the world.

So our beauty is playing on the potty. We were able to catch two poops and one peepee. That’s three diapers I didn’t have to change, and three diapers I didn’t have to wash. It has even turned into a reason to take another picture of my baby, and brag for a minute.
Thanks for reading my two cents!
