This week (10/11/09).....

Well I was in bed like a good girl. Stayed there for two hours, then decided to get up, take shower and ended up here typing. Although I know that I belong in bed the desire to sleep isn't there. If I were a child I would be able to look at me and "sweetie... your tired", however my body doesn't agree with my heavy eyelids.

So, I decided to let you all know a little about our week. Mike is currently in AP classes and although he loves them is refusing to complete his work, so he is officially two weeks behind on his science fair project which happens to be about botany.

Nickolas seems to be doing okay in his classes grades wise, however him and the teacher are not the best of friends. Nick is overly social, and that's not working well in the classroom setting. I'm not sure where he gets his desire to run his mouth, however I am forced to remember a nickname my father gave me through this event -- motor mouth. So I'm taking claim to the talking gemetic disorder, even though I'm not sure it's really from me! :)

Kate is the most amazing baby at 13 months she is walking and has even started talking. She tries to use her words, however her signing comes out more often than not. I have to admit that I am so happy that we decided to teach her basic signs so that we aren't as frusterated trying to figure out what she wants like, as we were when the boys were little.
So many times are lives are so busy that we forget to stop and enjoy. I'm hoping to start listing the things that are happenening at least once a week so that it's similar to a journal for the kids, and for myself later. We tend to see our growth in ourselves through past writings.
Guess that's enough on our family for this week. Hope you like the pictures.... I will try to add some new ones every week.
