I was amazed at the crazyness of even a calm holiday. I stressed myself to the very end and I never really did much. I was determined to make this holiday great without doing much. It turned out the three presents under the tree still made my children happy. Even though it wasn't the perfect 'get all the gifts you want' the kids still smiled and played ALL day.
They each loved the presents that we made for them. Nick was amazed with his checkerboard, and Kate carried her purse around ALL day long. Although bookmarks were loved Mike prefered the Rock Band 2 that the family bought together. Every member of the family put in money for the purchase of a 'family gift'. I am so happy that we all bought it, the kids didn't know what we bought until Christmas morning, but they took pride in the family game we got. Although I had no idea how popular this game would be.... even Kate is enjoying the game.
