Falling 4 My New Van

I have the greatest news. I bought a new van. I am so happy; the boys aren’t fighting over the baby in the back seat. It’s not a new van, but it’s new to me. Plus, we don’t make payments on vehicles and that includes this one.

That is the beginning of the story. I was installing Kate’s car seat into the first backseat. I decided to step over the van seat. Did you know that when people clean up their cars to sell they armor all the inside of the vehicle. Placing my arm on the door, I decided to support my weight using the door. My hand slips and I fall face first to the ground. Now this might not sound funny, but my feet stayed in the car… and my arms protected my whole body from the ground. I was officially ready to fire my arm from protective duty…. They failed.

After five day of limited movement I realized I needed t be checked. According to the SMH hospital I have broken a bone in my wrist. As you can see I’m in this cast and supposed to be here for 4-6 weeks. I am supposed to go to another doctor to see if I need a more permanent cast… this is only a temporary fiberglass cast.

The upside is that now that the kids are old enough to start breaking limbs I figure I needed to break one first! Since this is my first limb…I promise to not do it again!
