My Cake Shop

Everyone should have a dream and I never really have. I have always wanted to do so many things however I have really never stuck to anything. Over these last few years I have realized although I am not the most talented person, I do have a knack for painting and decorating and baking. I have always loved to bake and love sharing my baked stuff. So in my epiphany I decided I need to own (or work in) a cake shop. Now I think I would prefer to own my own because of my commitments to my children and family. Giving me the ability to run my own schedule and so on.

So my wrench is Rob, support, and well money. I want to bake so badly. I want to prove that I can bake for other people. Rob doesn't think I will ever buy the cake shop that I want because I'm not able to find clients now to bake for on a small scale from home, how can I ever do it in a large scale at a shop. This is the first time I admitted to anyone that I wanted to do something. I love baking and decorating.

I am going to not give up. I know there is someone out there that would rather have someone specific bake their cake then buy one at a store. I know that there are people who would rather know what is going in the pie rather than know they are mass produced. I even believe that there are people who want to have tasty treats for their kids while masking the veggies they never like eating.

I just NEED to find that person. In the meantime I am making my family taste and try all my different treats. Once I find those others I will be able to reduce the size of my families bellies as well. I know that I can make a dream come true. My life is about making my children happy and I think I need to work on me just a tad right now.

So, here's Nicky's cake it was so primitive. He's got a thing for gummy bears and that's the only thing we could think of for his cake. So it's a number 8 (as requested) and that's it.... although I must say that it tasted great, and it helped me gain a great fondant recipe.
